Game story and description:

The beloved Merci chocolates are being discontinued forever, and there will be no more Merci soon. As a devoted fan from Czechia, you join the frantic crowd in a chaotic race to the remaining boxes scattered across your favorite shop. Dash through crowded aisles, collect as much Merci as possible while showing no mercy to your opponents. However, beware, they are not going to give up easily.

Gameplay:

Your objective is simple, chocolate warrior – enter the shop, grab as many Mercis as possible, leave them at the cash register, and do the same again. Every Merci you buy translates into your score. The game ends when there are no Mercis left in the shop.

However, beware that you are not the only chocolate fan in the shop. The little girl loves to steal, the old lady is kind but slow and will not let you pass it easily, and the massive bald guy? If he likes something, it certainly is punching you in the face. Fortunately, you are also equipped with iron fists, so do not be afraid to use force if necessary. In the end, Merci is all that matters in this world.

Controls:

WSAD – movement

E – interaction with objects (picking up Merci, throwing stuff at others)

Space – attacking your foes

Escape – skip cutscenes, pause menu

Warning:

The game is mostly in English, but the voiceovers and some posters are in Czech. The language used is far from polite (you cannot expect a highly stressed crowd of people to be polite), so be prepared for that.

Our game uses an increased render scale to improve the visual fidelity, yet this has a negative impact on the performance. If your machine seems to have trouble running the game with a reasonable FPS, try to set a lower game resolution via the command line, by running the game executable with the following arguments:
